- XX Club (Twenty Club) Rev. Cannon Jones - 45 Church Street Hartford, CT 06141-0387 - (860)646-8651 - Provides knowledgeable information and ongoing peer support to transsexuals. 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month, 2 -5 PM
New Haven:
- Trangender Youth Support Group. - Group for transgender youth, ages 17-21 facilitated by Irwin Krieger, LCSW, at his office in New Haven. The group will meet once or twice monthly on Tuesdays at 4:30 PM. Goals for the group include: reducing isolation and increasing peer support for trans youth, therapeutic focus on issues of identity and coming out, strategizing to advocate for fair and respectful responses from others, providing a forum to discuss decisions about gender transition. Statewide:
- connecticuT View (cTView) - a Transgender social and support club, for the TV, TG, TS, CD, both male and female. Over 250 members from CT and surrounding states enjoy a monthly meeting in New Haven as well as electronic membership, with member directory, monthly newsletter, service organization list, professional help and more. A no dues club, with all the frills.
